You're a Listener and you don't get it... So your Christmas Party must be really great every year. KRUD Listener Tip: Radio Station Christmas Parties.. are usually very dull. We know this may come as a shock to you. You probably thought that those wild and crazy radio types really know how to party. Well, we do.... but Station Management, always looking for a way to save a buck, usually sets it up. Letting management set up the Christmas Party is the first mistake. They ought to let the jocks do it. Instead of a wild and crazy party everyone on the staff will not only remember, but talk about for the next six months.... It's Swedish Meatballs, a chicken that died before its' time, biscuits and rolls that can cause physical harm if thrown at another human being, a mobile disco unit that has amplifier problems, wine that makes Ripple taste great, some really bad carolers, two free drinks (instead of an open bar all night), and a few words from the station's department heads and a keynote speech by the Station Manager explaining why he'd love to give a cash bonus to everyone but all he could afford for such a large staff was a pork chop and an Avis Rental Car discount coupon (trade).
