You're a Listener and you don't get it... Haven't you ever been really, really bored at a party? Haven't you ever been at a party that you simply HAD to attend that just bored you to death and you had to find someway to amuse yourself to save the evening? It's amazing how alcohol and creative minds work together isn't it? Here's a real life example.. At the NBC Christmas party in Chicago, Jim Tyler, one of the creators of this site, took (stole) a live lobster from the restaurant's lobster tank and gave it to his cab driver as a Christmas present. The cab driver was not expecting this...... and Jim dropping the live lobster in the cabbie's lap as he was driving down Michigan Avenue in the middle of a snow storm caused quite a few erratic traffic maneuvers... even for a Chicago cabbie. Jim thought it was funny, the restaurant and the cabbie did not. So much for cheap booze..

Listener Tip: Alcohol
and the air-staff don't mix.. When
bored DJ's are allowed to drink alcohol at radio station parties.. anything
can and will happen. You've got to remember, these are the same idiots
you hear doing stupid things on the radio. What makes you think they
behave any differently off the air?
