You're a Listener and don't get it.... Radio Warfare is real...there are many instances of radio stations sabotaging power lines, antennas, promotional events, concerts and other events belonging to a competing station. While this is not an accepted method of "winning" it does provide a certain amount of satisfaction to the perpetrators of these unfortunate (some would call them funny) events. KRUD Listener Tip: The Fall Rating Period begins soon... radio stations all over the country are trying to come up with "killer" promotions for this all important rating period. They're all looking for a creative, fun, and inexpensive way to grab you as a listener. They're all trying to find a "new" way to do the same tired, old contests. Program Directors are begging tightwad General Managers for more money, billboards, and TV spots. Stations are calling consultants and consultants are laughing all the way to the bank. The fall rating period.. it's hell on us and a wonderful time to be a radio listener.. Good Luck! Remember.... you can't win unless you listen.
