You're a Listener and don't get it.... Most GM's present a different "image" to different segments of   a station's employee strata. General Managers come in all shapes and sizes, all levels of competence and incompetence, with and without a sense of humor, with and without an understanding of radio in general.  If you are fortunate enough to work for one that came up from the bottom of radio (spelled DJ) instead of one that was selling cars or carpets  last year, you are fortunate indeed.  We at KRUD have worked for the worst and the best.  The worst inspired this web site, the best allowed us to create this web site..... and keep our jobs. A good GM treats all with the respect another human being deserves.  To some GM's the jocks are just a necessary nuisance, more or less meat on the hoof, who are just passing through on their way to the radio slaughterhouse. KRUD Listener Tip: During the holidays quit requesting that damn "Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer"..... for Christ's sake (no pun intended) give it a rest already.. or buy the damn thing an play it in the privacy of your own padded cell..... one more request for that sorry song and your local DJ is going to go Postal..... by the way..
